Whitewashed walls, cool modern art and stripped wood floors characterise this Shoreditch restaurant, a versatile space for entertaining on the City’s northern fringes. For group dining, a semi-private raised space next to the bar seats up to 32 for meals or 50 standing guests for canapés. It’s particularly popular for a casual meeting followed by dinner, but breakfast is an equally strong suit. Head chef Simon Wadham oversees the menu, which holds steadfastly to its key principles of simplicity and sourcing, so expect ingredients-led British cooking. For parties, whole suckling pig feast is a speciality, and set menus at different price points are also available for parties.
