Venue Review of Twickenham Stadium
When it’s not flooded with rugby fans, the England national stadium operates as a venue for corporate and private events, with some of the capital’s best facilities in the South Stand, opened late in 2008. The stadium houses over 7,000sq m of versatile space and a business-friendly four-star Marriott Hotel with 156 bedrooms. The South Stand development was designed specifically with events in mind, so expect facilities that go beyond the norm. The in-house catering is efficiently run and imaginatively executed. Twickenham is 20 minutes from Central London and six miles from London Heathrow Airport, with excellent road links and 2,000 free on-site parking spaces.
