When it’s not flooded with rugby fans, the England national stadium operates as a venue for corporate and private events, with some of the capital’s best facilities in the South Stand, opened late in 2008. The stadium houses over 7,000sq m of versatile space as well as a business-friendly four-star Marriott Hotel with 156 bedrooms and a Virgin Active Classic health & fitness club. The South Stand development has been designed specifically with events in mind, so expect facilities that go beyond the norm. The Live Room auditorium, for example, has retractable tiered seating operated at the touch of a button. The in-house catering is efficiently run and imaginatively executed. Twickenham is located just 20 minutes from Central London and six miles from London Heathrow Airport with excellent road links and 2,000 free on-site parking spaces. Ask about arranging a stadium tour or guest speaker for your event.
