Churchill Museum & Cabinet War Rooms Information:
The Churchill Museum & Cabinet War Rooms, located in the Treasury building’s basement in Whitehall, is arguably the most historically important site in wartime politics & a suitably weighty venue for high-powered business meetings. It is here that Churchill directed WWII & many of the displayed artefacts are exactly as they were left when the war ended in 1945. Meeting facilities comprise three event spaces: the HCA Auditorium, enhanced by discreet but modern AV facilities, the atmospheric Harmsworth Room & intimate Switch Room, which combine to hold events for 10-400 guests. A new exhibition ‘Undercover – Life in Churchill’s Bunker’ runs until August 2010.
