It’s not difficult to guess at the history of Prism Restaurant & Bar. With its imposing 1920s architecture – think lofty ceilings & soaring columns – the City outfit of Harvey Nichols’s restaurant portfolio wears the grandeur of its former incarnation as the Bank of New York proudly. The 130-cover eatery can be hired to host stylish receptions, parties & weddings. In the evenings, the main room is transformed into a sophisticated, welcoming lounge bar with red sofas & ottomans, but it still offers restaurant tables for à la carte dining, as well as a candlelit conservatory & there’s an intimate bar in the original vaults below. Private dining rooms are also available.
