The Law Society’s Hall is located within easy walking distance of Holborn, Temple & Chancery Lane tube stations. It is a venue that prides itself on being both historic & flexible & its event spaces range from light & bright meeting rooms that can be combined to accommodate larger events, to the all-purpose Common Room, where rich, dark-wood panelling is offset by beautiful stained-glass windows. The venue also has a civil wedding licence, & the grand, pillared 210-capacity Reading Room makes a lovely setting for receptions, while sweeping staircases provide great backdrops for photos. Catering is supplied by the in-house caterer, Charlton House.

2008 Christmas Party Info: Looking for an exceptional venue for Christmas this year? Then why not book the Law Society’s Traditional Hall, superbly located in the heart of Chancery Lane. This grade 2 listed building with its 19th century interior provides the perfect setting for your Christmas party. The Reading Room is ideal for receptions for up to 200 guests enjoying canapés and drinks. The combined Common Room and Reading Room package, where guests can dine and dance, surrounded by rich dark wood panelling offset by beautiful stained glass windows, houses between 80-200 guests. For smaller numbers between 30-70, the Old Council Chamber and Dining Room Suite are available, coming with its own ante-room, bar and registration area and allowing for dinners of up to 60. Standard Packages start from £100 + VAT and Premium Packages start from £119 + VAT per person.
