Venue Review of BFI IMAX
The BFI IMAX is a 500-seat, state-of-the-art cinema that can be hired for a range of events, though its raison d’etre is, of course, the plush auditorium and largest screen in Britain. Despite being located by a transport hub (it’s perched right on the roundabout at Waterloo, inside a modern, cylindrical landmark), the auditorium is insulated from ambient noise. With stadium-style seating and a digital surround-sound system, the BFI IMAX offers organisers screening facilities for presentations that really make an impact. The lobbies are spacious and versatile enough to hold receptions, photo shoots, product launches, tastings and other events for up to 450 people.
