First impressions count & visitors arriving at the Earth Galleries won’t be disappointed by the dramatic, soaring atrium whose 18m-high slate walls are etched with the planets & depictions of the night sky. A dynamic setting for events, guests can take a ride through a giant globe before exploring the earth’s turbulent past in the Power Within gallery, where a recreation of the 1995 Kobe earthquake & an erupting volcano provide a unique experience. The Earth’s Treasury gallery, on the first floor of the Earth Galleries, contains a stunning display of precious gemstones from around the world & makes a great location for cocktail receptions, dinners or themed parties.

2008 Christmas Party Info:This year, the Earth Galleries will host a Christmas party organised by EventWise. Inside one of London’s most prestigious venues hides a breathtaking space with with capacities of 200 for a 3 course seated dinner and 400 for a buffet or bowl food. As part of the Natural History Museum, the Earth Galleries offer an intimate dining space for smaller groups looking for a high-status venue. This futuristic and versatile space can be used in a variety of ways, allowing you to dance to a DJ amongst some of the museums most fascinating artifacts.
