Exterior - Queeen's garden
Described as a tiny ‘doll’s house’ of a royal residence, Kew Palace has been gracefully restored to how it would have looked when George III lived there. As befits its diminutive size, there are just two areas available for private hire. The intimate King’s Dining Room (where the Queen celebrated her 80th birthday) seats up to 24 and is well suited to private dinners and drinks receptions, looking over the Great Lawn and across to the famous Orangery. Dinner can be combined with a private tour, giving access to areas that are not normally open to the public. From April to October, the Queen’s Garden, with its adjoining physic garden, makes a lovely setting for alfresco drinks parties of up to 40 guests.
