Dating from 1670, Skinners’ Hall is a Grade I-listed building with a history that’s as rich as its interiors. Home to one of the City’s ‘Great Twelve’ livery companies, it combines stately halls, elegant chambers and homelier rooms with a warm atmosphere. Guests enter through the ceremonial gates and a paved courtyard before heading, perhaps, to the centrepiece Great Hall for a banquet, the Old Court Room for a private dinner or the handsome Court Room for a board meeting. The Roof Garden, a tranquil space surrounding a fountain, suits summer entertaining, while the Outer Hall, with its roaring fire, comes into its own in winter. Catering is by Party Ingredients.
