Skinners' Hall Information:

Skinners' Hall dates from 1670 & is a Grade I-listed building rich in history & tradition. Home to one of the City’s ‘Great Twelve’ livery companies, the hall is also a memorable venue in which to host events. Guests enter through the ceremonial gates & a paved courtyard before being welcomed into the warmth & atmosphere of a fine country house, complete with outstanding paintings, coats of arms & period furniture. From business presentations to receptions & dinners, the superb facilities are versatile enough to meet just about any requirement. Special features include a roof garden & an unusual round gallery above the outer hall. Catering is provided by Party Ingredients.

2008 Christmas Party Info: This fabulous Grade 1 listed building in the heart of the city will be decorated in traditional Christmas splendour, in red and golds, and complete with stockings, holly and ivy. Guests will enter via the hidden courtyard off Dowgate Hill, where the trees will be twinkling with fairy lights, before attending a drinks receptions held by a lazing log fire n the Outer Hall, with mulled wine and the option of a pianist playing Christmas carols. The magnificent candlelit Banqueting Hall is the setting for a traditional Christmas dinner, and after dinner dancing takes place in the adjoining Old Court Room. Lunches or Dinners are available for 60 to 170 guests while buffet receptions hold up to 300. All options have an 11.30pm finishing time.
