Venue Review of Hampton Court Palace
Once home to some of England’s most famous royalty – notably Henry VIII – Hampton Court Palace is an unforgettable venue. Over the centuries, the palace has hosted some astoundingly lavish celebrations. Today, it still provides stunning rooms for entertaining. Every room is dripping in history, with myriad stories to tell and original features still in fine condition. The King’s Eating Room was the king’s retreat during banquets, where courtiers would be invited to watch him eat – appropriately, it’s now available for dinner parties – while the King and Queen’s Guard Chambers are ideal for small groups. The most recent opening is the Undercroft, where 220 guests can dance post-banquet.
