This striking venue is situated on the north bank of the Thames adjacent to Blackfriars Station. Its 600-seat Auditorium has a huge stage with easy street access & is equipped to cater for a diverse range of events. Combined with breakout spaces, it can be booked exclusively & branded if required. The two main function areas, the River Rooms, are interconnecting & have wonderful views of the river. In addition, there are another six conference rooms with state-of-the-art equipment that can hold up to 120 people theatre-style. A full catering service is part of the package & a dedicated event manager will assist with every element of your event.

2008 Christmas Party Info: The Mermaid is gearing itself up for a cracking 2008 Christmas season, offering ‘The Maharaja’s Palace’-themed events. On arrival guests ascend a glittering staircase, adorned in a hanging garden cascade of floral forms, to arrive in the botanical splendour of The River Room. Windows are decorated in a painted procession of majestic maharaja elephants, while lanterns illuminate the walls. Anything from seated dinners to stand-up fork buffets can be accommodated.
