Though it was built in the 1920s, the rich wood panelling and casement windows of the Ironmongers’ Hall interiors recall the Tudor era and gives the impression of a traditional country house. The hall offers four rooms – catering for a maximum of 250 – and a courtyard, perfect for summer entertaining. Banquets are a strong suit, with the dramatic Banqueting Hall (featured on the DVD version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) seating 168, but conferences and weddings work just as well. The in-house catering team prides itself on a flexible approach, while the heart-of-the-City location makes access easy. A reasonable DDR for this part of town is another plus.
