Acclaimed Chelsea stalwart Chutney Mary has long been leading the charge for sophisticated Indian cooking, but only recently has it become popular for events. Arguably one of London’s top Indian restaurants, it offers a sophisticated venue for intimate dinners or larger functions. The romantic but modern interior – softly lit with candles come evening – reflects a menu that combines classic Indian recipes with the food of today’s India. The cuisine is complemented by a carefully selected wine list. The main dining room, which seats 110, is available for private hire during the day, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm & there’s a lovely private dining room too.

Wedding party info: Chutney Mary has a wedding licence & provides a romantic & unusual setting for wedding parties, with its pretty conservatory seating encircling a massive fiscus tree. The venue can seat up to 100 in the main restaurant, while the private dining room can hold up to 32 for more intimate parties. The team can take the pressure off by arranging your wedding cake, photography, flower arrangements & entertainment.
