Garden
One of four ancient Inns of Court, Inner Temple’s history seeps from every corner. But don’t expect fustiness or old-fashioned service – its events are run by Searcys, who have a firm grip on the latest trends. There are four rooms to choose from. The magnificent oak-panelled Main Hall seats 250 for a banquet; the country house-style Parliament Chamber holds receptions of 200; the Luncheon Room overlooking the gardens takes 70 for a meeting; and the Smoking Rooms seats 30 for intimate dining. In summer the star attraction is the three acre garden with views over the Thames, space for a large marquee and access to the historic Temple Church grounds – all in a Midtown location.
