Parlour
Hidden down a back street just off Smithfield, by the famous church of St Bartholemew the Great, is Founders ' Hall, home of one of the City’s oldest livery companies. Built using traditional methods & materials in the 1980s, the hall houses three very different rooms over three floors (two of which are suited to wedding ceremonies). The wedding party will gather in the traditional-style ground-floor Parlour before moving through to the Livery Hall, with large porthole windows overlooking the church gardens. Here your guests – up to 120 seated - will be able to enjoy the wedding breakfast before returning to the Parlour Room for drinks at the bar through to 11pm. Night owls will be relieved to hear that there’s no shortage of bars & clubs nearby to continue the celebrations – Clerkenwell is famed for its vibrant nightlife.
