Club
A 21st-century speakeasy from the owners of Mahiki and Whisky Mist, The Rose Club houses a working ground-floor flower shop, which sits atop a chic 300-capacity basement club. The theatrical space, which has been designed to make guests feel as if they’re inside a jewellery box, is full of surprises. Ballerinas and dancers perform on podiums, opera singers and string quartets serenade clubbers, cocktails come in oversized Monopoly pieces. This is one of London’s nightclubs du jour, and private events are already popular here. Watch this space for phase two plans, which include a first-floor restaurant lounge and roof terrace, bringing the venue’s total capacity to 400.
