The most famous cricket ground in the world has a variety of choice event spaces, but they don’t come more prestigious than the Long Room in the Grade-II listed Pavilion. Hung with stunning paintings from the MCC’s collection, the elegant, high-ceilinged space holds 300 for a reception or 200 for a banquet, with flawless service provided by the venue’s charming staff. The room is flooded with light from a bank of windows that stretch along an entire wall, affording magnificent views of the pitch, which can be lit & branded for evening events. Just across the hall is the more intimate Writing Room, which provides a wonderful setting for smaller groups. The in-house catering is superb.
