The Halkin, located on a quiet street in Belgravia, remains one of London’s most stylish and discreet boutique hotels. Small events are a speciality here, from cocktail parties and private dining to press days, weddings and meetings. The Halkin has four stylish and spacious suites, as well as the Private Dining Room, which can accommodate groups of 30 seated and up to 50 standing. Early in 2013, Ametsa with Arzak Instruction, run under the guidance of a team from the three-Michelin-starred Arzak in San Sebastian, replaced the longstanding Nahm. The restaurant adjoins the PDR and features new Basque cuisine, pairing the earthy flavours of Spain’s Basque region with cutting-edge techniques.
