A welcoming private members’ club and bijou hotel set in a handsome Mayfair townhouse just off Piccadilly, The Fox Club offers a laidback alternative to the area’s more traditional establishments. The on-site bar serves lattes by day and cocktails by night and works well when hired with the club’s restaurant. Seating 25, it’s a relaxed setting for a private dinner or a reception for 45, with a line-up of British dishes enlivened by global flavours. Elsewhere, there’s a pair of elegant high-ceilinged spaces: The Drawing Room holds 10 seated or 20 standing, while the Elizabeth Armistead Room, overlooking the street below, takes 14 seated or 30 standing. Nine bedrooms complete the package.
