Richard Corrigan’s Bentley’s majors in simple but immaculately executed seafood dishes and houses some fantastic private dining facilities too. One of those, the Swallow Street Rooms – comprised of The Den and the Swallow Library – offers versatility and a dedicated, exclusive entrance onto the eponymously named street outside. Recently redesigned, the individual rooms are decked out with mirrored walls and leather banquettes, and feature a private bar, piano and a plasma screen. Each accommodating up to 18 diners, the two spaces can be combined to seat 60 people on round tables or 100 guests for a standing reception. A three-course menu starts at £40pp and includes complimentary canapés on arrival, followed by tea and coffee and handmade petit fours.
