Auditorium
Southbank Centre is one of the world’s largest arts complexes, with a wide-reaching programme of classical and world music, rock and pop, jazz, dance, literature and the visual arts. Spread across 21 acres on the thriving South Bank, the venue itself is just as varied. As well as the centrepiece Royal Festival Hall with its state-of-the-art auditorium and world-class acoustics, there’s the smaller Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and Hayward Gallery. These spaces can hold conferences for up to 2,500 people, drinks receptions for 900, dinner from 40 to 440 or a boardroom meeting for 50. The location, close to Waterloo station, makes access easy for out-of-towners.
