Relaxed and elegant, Searcys restaurant at the Barbican serves up modern British food against a backdrop of city views. The restaurant is furnished with a mix of dark wood, oversized lampshades and grey semi-circular banquettes – a look that extends into the PDR, which seats up to 14 guests. Expect locally sourced ingredients to feature strongly on the menu, which name-checks the likes of Maldon rock oysters, Clare Island salmon, game from Yorkshire and Gloucester Old Spot pork. Searcys can also provide flexible catering solutions across the varied spaces of the Barbican – its team has even been known to serve dinner on the stage of the main theatre.
