Affectionately known as ‘The Gherkin’, this distinctive skyscraper is a much-loved feature on the London skyline and one of the hottest venues in town. Sitting under the glass apex 180m up, the Bar & Restaurant feels as if it’s suspended in the sky, offering 360-degree panoramas of the capital. It’s reserved for tenants and members during the day, so private evening and weekend events are the only way in. Sunset is a particularly stunning time and atmospheric lighting can be arranged to make the most of the views, which stretch out to the Olympic site. For a slice of the vista during the day, two modern private dining rooms on Level 38 are available for all-day dining and meeting.

Searcys | The Gherkin is offering reduced room hire for events taking place in March and April 2013. Exclusive use of the top two floors of the Gherkin for evening events will be available at £7,000 +VAT (a £2,500 +VAT discount), while reduced hire between 7.30-10am will cost £2,000 +VAT. Breakfast packages, including unlimited drinks with a Breakfast Club sandwich or croissants, will also be available for £20pp (minimum of 40 guests). For further details, email the sales team.
