As big fans of Caprice Holdings’ seafood temple on Mount Street, we know just how difficult it can be to score a table at this enduring Mayfair favourite. This, of course, makes the restaurant’s private dining room all the more appealing. Decked out in the same rich wood and leather as the main restaurant, with artwork from Sadie Coles HQ and the Timothy Taylor gallery, the Private Room at Scott’s is an intimate yet generous space, with room for 28 diners at a single large table, or up to 40 on a series of rounds. It can also host cocktail and canapé receptions for 50 and comes with AV kit and Wi-Fi to accommodate meetings. Fresh flowers, place cards and candles are included as standard.
The Mayfair restaurant has announced its summer menu for private diners. With four three-course options to choose from, dishes include twice-baked Montgomery Cheddar soufflé with truffled celery and apple salad, olive crusted cod with grilled fennel, datterini tomatoes and capers, and summer berry mess coupe.
