One Great George Street is a four-domed Edwardian building just off Parliament Square that’s as elegant inside as out. With first-class facilities and a location near to Westminster Abbey, St James’s Park and the Houses of Parliament, the collection of 19 rooms can accommodate anything from large conferences to more intimate functions. The exterior, foyer and grand staircase are made of striking Portland stone, while many of the rooms are panelled in walnut oak, with ornate plasterwork and crystal chandeliers. The venue, which was home to the London Media Centre during the 2012 Olympics, also has a handy in-house restaurant for 100 and offers free Wi-Fi throughout.
The Westminster venue has increased its number of spaces for hire from 19 to 21. The venue has added a new boardroom and made the office of the Director General of the ICE available for dinners for up to 16.
