Venue Review of Northbank

Located on the edge of the Thames, just across from Tate Modern and adjacent to the Millennium Bridge, the glass-fronted Northbank boasts amazing river views from every corner of the dining room. Its modern British menu has a West Country slant – whole dressed Dorset crab, followed by braised shoulder of lamb with chorizo, then warm chocolate fondant with peanut butter ice-cream to finish, all matched to wines from an eclectic list. The restaurant, which features funky chandeliers and quirky wallpaper, can be hired exclusively for up to 175 guests or partitioned off for smaller events. In summer, the 40-capacity terrace becomes a sought-after riverside entertaining space.
