With 36 acres of gardens and animal houses to play with, ZSL London Zoo can host a broad spectrum of events. Among its elegant suites and meeting rooms is the graceful Mappin Pavilion. This Grade II-listed building, with floor-to-ceiling windows, overlooks both Regent’s Park and the wallabies in the ‘Australian Outback’ enclosure. The seated capacity here is 80 (banqueting style) and the space works well when combined with a reception in one of the exotic Animal Houses. Booking an ‘Animal Encounter’ as part of your programme is a must. Popular experiences include meeting the meerkats or Dana the lemur and going behind the scenes at Penguin Beach.
