Located in Docklands, a short distance from the Olympic Park, is Lanterns Studio Theatre – part performance space, part venue. The large modern building includes 900sq m of event space that comprises a spacious theatre, separate bar and dining room, as well as a dressing room and recording studio for breakouts. Exclusive hire is an option for conferences and exhibitions for up to 300, while smaller groups can take the 50-capacity Studio 1. As you’d expect at a working theatre, the AV facilities are excellent. The venue is moments from Canary Wharf tube station, with easy access to the Thames River Walk and Millharbour Dock with its link to the Olympic Village. Private parking is available too.
