Flight gallery
Dining reaches giddy heights in the Science Museum’s eye-catching Flight Gallery. Set in an authentic replica of an aircraft hangar, tables can be laid out beneath Amy Johnson’s ‘Gipsy Moth’ or Alcock and Brown’s ‘Vickers Vimy’ – the first aeroplane to cross the Atlantic – allowing guests to get up close and personal with icons of aviation history. To take the experience even further, there is an adjacent 3D simulator which can take guests on a thrilling aerobatics display with the Red Arrows. The nearby Launchpad gallery also offers an interactive option for a separate pre-dinner drinks reception. Receptions and dinners are available for 400 guests, while dinner dances can cater for 350.
