This spectacular arched glass atrium in Canary Wharf soars above 682sq m of coloured marble floors. It has beechwood panelling on two walls and windows that look out towards Jubilee Park and the waterfront. Light-filled, elegant interiors and a 1am licence lend the space to exhibitions and product launches just as well as to parties and banquets. In addition, a 4m x 3m LED screen and sound-absorbing acoustics will suit conference bookers. The Gallery, which is suspended above the main floor, can be hired on its own and the multimedia Promenade Room seats 40. ‘Smart glass’, which turns from transparent to opaque, has been installed to give clients complete privacy from Bank Street.
The East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf has a variety of deals running through February and March. Subject to a minimum food and drink spend of £5,000, every direct event booker gets a Links of London bracelet or magnum of Champagne, while complimentary canapes will be served at dinner events. Book a conference and you’ll get complimentary snacks as well as a glass of wine for everyone at the post-event drinks reception. Lay on a reception and the East Wintergarden will give you a wine upgrade. And, whatever the event, use of the venue’s LED screen (usually charged at £1,985 +VAT) is included. All events must be booked and contracted by 31 March 2014.
