Since 1964, Daphne’s has been charming the Chelsea locals with its sunny Italian disposition. The rustic warmth of its Tuscan-inspired conservatory, dotted with olive trees, provides a versatile backdrop for entertaining – a retractable roof keeps it fresh and light in summer and an open fire cosy in the winter. Table configurations vary, but the maximum number for a meal is 40 on four tables of 10. Alternatively, there’s room for cocktail parties of 50, but don’t miss out on the ingredients-led Italian food with seasonal specials. In the main restuarant, reasonably priced lunches are a pleasant surprise for this part of town, with table bookings available for groups of as many as 16 guests.
