A Shoreditch location just over the City’s northern fringe makes Rivington Grill a handy Christmas party destination for Square Milers, while cool interiors lend corporate events a bit of East London style. White-washed walls, stripped-back floors and modern art characterise the venue, which seats up to 25 guests in a raised dining area. The all-day menu holds steadfastly to its key principles of simplicity and sourcing, so expect ingredients-led British cooking. Christmas menus for 2012 (priced at £32pp) include the restaurant’s speciality: roast suckling pig with all the trimmings, or Kelly Bronze roast turkey, sandwiched between some light starters and proper British puds.
