For an alternative to traditional Christmas parties, head to Covent Garden’s Momo. The combination of its quirky Moroccan design and cuisine makes it just the spot for something out of the ordinary. The venue is split into café, bar and restaurant and there’s a heated terrace dotted with pouffes and shisha pipes. Each room can be hired individually or you can book the whole venue. The restaurant on its own holds up to 200 standing guests, but combined with the terrace, it takes an extra 40. It also accommodates up to 120 for lunch or dinner. The café takes 45 seated or 75 standing guests for informal events, while the bar area downstairs works best for receptions and evening parties.
