Set in tranquil gardens in the heart of west London, Kensington Palace first became a royal residence for William and Mary in 1689. The Royal couple commissioned Sir Christopher Wren to create a palace retreat away from Whitehall &, despite its central location, the venue still feels cut off from the bustle of its surroundings today. Also the birthplace & childhood home of Queen Victoria, the palace has hosted the courts of countless kings & queens over the centuries & has an unmistakably regal feel which suits only the grandest events. A Christmas party can begin with pre-dinner drinks in the Queens Gallery, with its rich 17th-century interiors, before dinner in the beautiful Orangery.
