One of London’s most celebrated restaurants, The Ivy is almost as famous as its A-list patrons. For Christmas parties, the Private Room upstairs has the prestige of its sibling, despite being a more accessible option. Decked out in the same distinctive style as the restaurant downstairs, the room combines stained-glass windows, leather furniture and British art. It seats up to 60 guests or holds 120 for a canapé and Champagne reception. Set menus feature seasonal British comfort food such as Devonshire chicken breast with truffle stuffing and creamed corn; or roasted Glen Coe venison with gamekeeper pie and sloe berry sauce. Prices for a three-course dinner start at £48pp.
