A revamp of the City-based Minster Exchange has seen traditional wine bar interiors slicked up with quirky touches like statement wallpaper, vintage mirrors and chandeliers. A trio of function spaces is available for combined hire, with the 250-capacity Minster Suite now offering a multi-purpose space for meetings and parties – the AV kit is cutting edge and the room has its own private bar and dancefloor. Separate rooms seat between 70 and 90 guests, and competitive DDR packages are now available. There’s a private kitchen too. After-workers will appreciate the more premium feel of the famous 5pm happy hour, which features a big chunk of the wine list, and a menu with lighter options such as a line-up of seafood.
