Home to the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries since 1632, Apothecaries Hall in Blackfriars has all the historical features you’d expect of a traditional livery hall. The largest of the trio of event spaces is the Great Hall, at the centre of which is a beautiful 18th-century candelabrum suspended from the ceiling. The handsome oak-panelled room holds up to 200 guests for receptions and 130 for dinners. The more intimate Court Room suits smaller parties and dinners. It has the feel of a stately home; portraits line the walls and stained-glass windows depict the society’s coat of arms. For more intimate meetings or breakout space, the Parlour is next door. Catering is provided by Party Ingredients.
