In summer 2012, the London Film Museum’s second site opened in Covent Garden, after a £3.5m refurbishment of the former Flower Cellars. It’s already proving a popular attraction with event
organisers when they discover that, unlike most museums, much of the LFM’s main gallery floor space is unobstructed – exhibits are mainly hanging on the walls – making it super-convenient for
events. The simple, modern design acts as a blank canvas for events of up to 450 standing guests. Downstairs, three atmospheric cellar spaces hold up to 120 guests for dinners or 100 for meetings,
while breakout or VIP areas include a futuristic 40-capacity mezzanine level.
