First established in 1799, the Royal Institution of Great Britain is an independent charity that aims to connect the public with the marvels of science. Its historic building also makes an
impressive venue for events. The main space is the Faraday Theatre, which for 200 years has invited scientists, artists, authors and politicians to share their ideas. The amphitheatre’s steep,
raked seating creates a dramatic atmosphere, while placing the speaker in the centre of the action. The 440-seat venue obviously adds gravitas to formal conferences but it also works well as a
characterful location for weddings and other ceremonies. Hire comes with full AV kit and a dedicated technician.
