Perched on the roof of No 1 Poultry, Coq d’Argent boasts more than just a swanky postcode for your Christmas celebrations - the vistas from the top of this City skyscraper are some of the best in the city, with clear views of St Paul's Cathedral, Monument and the Bank of England.
When the chilly British winter starts to set in and minds turn to Christmas plans, Coq d'Argent gets into a full festive flow with a wide range of spaces available to hire for Christmas parties. First and foremost there's the Lodge d'Argent - a pop-up winter rooftop wonderland that brings a warming alpine vibe to Coq d'Argent's famous rooftop. Launched in collaboration with Hennessy, the Lodge d'Argent is a cosy wood cabin available to hire with a menu of alpine classics, as well as bespoke cocktail pairings.
If you fancy braving the outdoors, why not host your party on Coq d'Argent's Winter Bar terrace? The terrace is heated so there's no need to worry about a Christmas chill, and the area can accommodate seated groups of up to 40, or 100 for a standing drinks and canapes party or similar. Or, take the party inside into one of Coq d'Argent's two winter chalets, which are all equipped with furs, snowy decorations and festive lighting. These are available from Monday to Friday, or Saturday night, and can accommodate six people for dinner or drinks.
For the largest groups, there's also the option of exclusive hire of the whole of Coq d'Argent, which has room for about 150 seated guests across all areas, or up to 300 standing.
Coq d'Argent offers a three-course Festive Set Menu for all Christmas party groups dining at the venue, with a variety of menus on offer for groups of different sizes, as well as a dedicated winter canape menu. Dishes from the set menu include black truffle and mushroom tortelloni, Christ turkey with all the trimmings, and buche de noel with frozen raspberries.
