Quintessentially English, The Hurlingham Club and its immaculate riverside gardens occupy a 42-acre estate off a side street in Fulham. The main Georgian house dates back to the 18th century and
operates as a private members’ club, but a modernised events wing is available for hire by non-members. The largest of its spaces, the Hurlingham Suite, holds up to 1,200 guests in a single area,
while smaller rooms (many of which open onto terraces overlooking the lawns) include a tiered lecture theatre with 180 seats. The club, which has 300 parking spaces, can also be accessed by boat
(via the private jetty) and is five minutes’ walk from Putney Bridge tube station.
