Tucked away in a tiny courtyard off a side street near Bank, The Don occupies the old Sandeman Port cellars, where the company’s famous sherries, Madeiras and ports were bottled for 200 years. The
restaurant continues to win over City veterans with its charming atmosphere, top-notch modern French food and efficient service. Its bistro (seating 50), White Room (45), Sandeman Room (24) and
Wine Study (16) can be hired in the evening, for dinner parties and other events. In late 2013, new sister restaurant The Sign Of The Don opened up right next door. Seating 60 and a further 40
upstairs, the more informal bistro also has a 16-capacity tasting room and a 24-capacity vault PDR.
