Located in the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank, Skylon makes the most of its position with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the Thames. Part of D&D London’s smart collection of
restaurants, the venue has been stylishly kitted out with sleek booths, high ceilings and statement ceiling lamps. The large space is divided into three sections, with a raised bar – great for
cocktail receptions – separating the relaxed brasserie from the fine-dining area, both of which are popular for semi-private dining. However, Skylon is shown off to best effect when hired
exclusively for 220 diners or cocktails for 500. Menus focus on modern British dishes such as oxtail cottage pie and pan-fried halibut.
