Mark Hix’s most recent opening, Hixter, is available for the 2014 Christmas bash. The food is focused on prime cuts of steak and chicken, all served to share, although lobster and oysters are
regular fixtures on the menu too. For festive affairs, there’s a private dining room with space for 24 diners, while next door, Mark’s Bar – which prides itself on an innovative cocktail menu – is
a good spot for a drinks reception, accommodating up to 100 guests. Despite the chilly Christmas weather a covered and heated terrace is also available, while on weekends, the entire 220-capacity
restaurant can be booked out exclusively. Oh, there’s a late licence too. That’s important.
