I booked on the evening from the hotel as i had been there before and was never dissapointed ,
I was nt sure if to eat down stairs or upstairs in the brasserie as i never had access to the menu for downstairs, so i decided to eat upstairs, I arrived with time to spare so i went for a drink in the bar ,and informed the staff i was eating in the brasserie at 8.00pm. At 8.15 i was so hungry i went to ask if table was ready and i was shown to my table .
We ordered promptly as we were starving and after eating our was through half a loaf of bread and 30 min later one soup and one crab arrived,
The soup was good but the crab was very watery and had shell in it too, i pointed this out and it was duly deducted from the bill, We both ordered steaks and they arrived in a short time after, they were very good
But the damage had been done with the 30min wait and the 2 pieces of crab shell in the starters , maybe the two are connected ,,less rushing and more attention to the detail is required…
I hope the chip improves as it was very good …
