Alex's review of The House

I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for excellent food and service in a very laid-back and friendly environment. The pub has a very pleasant atmosphere whether you sit outside (can be noisy but not unpleasant) or inside (esp by the fire). The food is consistently excellent and beyond “gastropub” choice and quality. Wine list also very decent. In an ideal world, the specials menu would be updated more regularly but this could be because I've been to this place more than 20 times! It is very highly recommended!
