Tony's review of Palm Restaurant

I was a frequent visitor of the Palm in the states and was delighted when they opened in London. This superb top of the line American steakhouse is blessed not only with great steaks and lobsters but a staff that matches its quality of food. I returned yesterday for the second time since they opened and from the moment I walked in with my wife it was like I was coming home. Unlike many British restaurants “table-turnover” is not a consideration to the staff at the Palm. It is come in, enjoy and stay as long as you like. We arrived at 2pm and left at 8pm and the time flew by. Our servers Yolanda and Khalid were superb in their knowledge of the menu and daily specials and were politely sociable and attentive. The manager Gary stopped by to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and when told it was our anniversary, we were made to feel even more special if that was possible. The owner of this privately -owned restaurant group happened to be visiting from the states and also stopped by to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We left feeling not only completely satisfied with our meal and service but like we were leaving close friends who cared that our experience was the best it could be. I booked a reservation for a return visit and we are looking forward to “coming home” once again.
