Had Dinner at Notting Hill kitchen a few days ago on a busy night second time cause the first time was a real flop but now officially open so had to come back and see it for real.
It's far from the best Iberian restaurant in London.
Walk in to the restaurant from the entrance through the bar no welcome gesture from any staff what's so ever.
Then the tapas menu when we asked the waiter which cheeses were served they had to look for a list behind the bar didn't come back to us any more to tell us the cheeses so we did not order them.
Brought to our table by the restaurant manager this time he was doing some work last time when we went for Dinner at notting hill kitchen he was to busy sitting behind a laptop at the bar area , while the restaurant was a chaos.
Recommended a great Portuguese wine .
He didn't have anything good to say about the food except not to order the tuna burger as he would not recommend it .
Octopus salad ok but not enough octopus.
Joselito ham to cold and tasted like the fridge what a shame such a exclusive product .
Had the pork cheek was good but very small portion for the price
The swordfish rice over cooked and just a few slices of swordfish and not really hot enough .
The Service is very amateurish don't have clue of what they are serving exactly as they called the beans with the octopus turtle beans . Then we asked if the rice with the risotto was dairy free said yes but we clearly tasted cheese in the rice.
This restaurant needs to work on a lot of things before they can consider them selfs a top Iberian restaurant.
My advice try and walk before you can run!
