Lisa's review of Harwood Arms

I have lived around the corner from The Harwood for 5 years and have always loved it there… until now. The food is excellent yes but now the staff are incredibly stuck up whereas before it used to be warm and friendly and I would quite happily go in on my own and have a glass of wine. I raved about the bar to friends and we went in last night and the staff were so so so rude, they all stared instead of coming over to ask what we wanted. The barman “tutted” when we didn't know straight away which wine we wanted even though there was no list on the bar and he hadn't offered us one. I travel extensively for work and I am also a mystery shopper in my spare time for fun and never have I been in a bar/restaurant with such awful staff. What a pity.
