The best thing about Grape St is the atmosphere. Its a very friendly and comfortable place where you feel at home, even when on your own. The staff are delightful and feel like friends. People who have not met before often get chatting. Its small enough to be intimate, but big enough for large groups or privacy, depending on what you want. There is usually poetry tacked to the loo walls, and books and umbrellas to borrow as well. The place feels loved, with many delightful decorations and intrguing bits and peices. Food and drink are both excellent, and the lighting and music are subtle and relaxing. Its feels like one's own bit of home in central London. Very highly recommended!
